Process Engineering
Our process engineering consultants make up a multi-discipline engineering company specializing in chemical and process engineering with the in-house capability to design and build pilot plants and skid-mounted systems. This combination of capabilities makes CEI unique in the engineering world for the ability to take your basic process information and design the scaled-up process, build the required systems (including automation), and then either deliver the system to your facility or operate it in our facility at your direction.
- Chemical Engineering – With over half the company being chemical engineers, process-design capability is the backbone of the company.
- Mechanical Engineering – Our in-house mechanical engineers and process engineering consultants have the unique ability to not only design equipment specified by the chemical engineers but also to design and build a complete system.
Automation Engineering – Our I&E department exists to support the design and construction of complete systems. The automation engineers take the functional specifications of the process engineer and turn it into a real-world control system. The automation engineers often are involved in P&ID development, resulting in effective implementation of the controls.
- Electrical Engineering – The same engineers implementing a customer’s automation system are also designing the electrical power requirements, making for a properly integrated system.
