The Facilities of Creative Engineers
Creative Engineers, Inc., operates under a distributed-work model, allowing employees to telecommute whenever possible. Our client base covers the U.S. and includes international clients. When not traveling, many of our engineers prefer to stay near home, so they work at home.
CEI maintains a presence in York, Pa., Pittsburgh, Pa., Baltimore, Md., and Newark, Del. Clients who engage CEI only for engineering work may have that work performed at their site, at the York facility, or at the offices of the individual engineers.
In York, Pa., CEI maintains a 20,000-sq.-ft. R&D and manufacturing facility. Engineers and technicians gather and work at that location as dictated by customer needs. The facility enables the handling of large quantities of alkali metals, with an inventory of up to 10,000 pounds of sodium not uncommon. The facility is used to manufacture our line of chemicals and also conduct R&D work for our clients. Many clients have entrusted CEI to design, build, test and operate pilot plants for the client at our facility.
Some clients simply have CEI design and build pilot plants, skid-mounted systems, or small process systems. These may be constructed at the York facility or at the facilities of another fabricator. The project requirements and the customer will dictate what makes the most sense. CEI is flexible and responsive in its approach to guarantee the best result and value for the client.
