Introduction to CEI

Creative Engineers, Inc. (CEI) is a small business (as defined by SBA). The principals of the company have a combined 60 years of experience in the design, construction, and operation of chemical facilities.

We are focused on our core capabilities of process engineering and project management and engineering. CEI’s staff members are all chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineers who have spent the majority of their careers working in operations and engineering positions within chemical plants, giving us a unique customer perspective. We know how hard it is to find engineers who understand the difficulties of operating a plant day in and day out. We have been there!

Our experience includes many batch and continuous chemical processes within the specialty-chemicals and performance-metals areas. We have experience in most unit operations including batch reactions, distillation, high-temperature processing, mixing, solvent recovery, filtration, drying, grinding, powder handling, emissions abatement, and extraction. We have worked with many difficult-to-handle materials, including water reactives, toxic liquids and gases, explosives, and pyrophorics.

Creative Engineers has the capability to fabricate skid-mounted processing systems, design and build equipment, and subcontract other engineering disciplines such as civil or structural. We will do these activities IF it makes sense for you, the customer. If CEI is not able to bring value, we will refer you to a group that can. We believe it is better to refer a customer to another engineering company than provide a poor product or service.
