Various positions as manager and process engineer at Callery Chemical Company for 23 years with responsibility for all engineering support of the NaK production unit, the potassium production unit, the potassium superoxide production unit.  Work included responsibility for the engineering involved to meet safety and environmental requirements including permitting.

Specific Projects at Callery Chemical Company include:

  1. Design and construction of a new alkali metal alkoxides production unit.

  2. Design and construction of two bulk alkali metal storage systems, each with 2 large tanks

  3. Debottlenecking of the potassium production process.

  4. Implementation of new scrubber technology for the treatment of smoke from alkali metal operations.
