| 2000 - Present Creative Engineers, Inc. Cranberry Township, PA Chemical Engineer n Developed and brought to market several sodium based fluoropolymer etching solutions. Currently in charge of production and customer relations. n Plant manager for sodium dispersion production, overseeing day-to day operations and customer relations. n Assisted in the development and operation of a zero emission, non-reactive sodium residue cleaning system. n Project manager for a turnkey mobile sodium dispersion manufacturing unit. n Responsible for the developed and maintenance of sodium dispersion quality control program, including method development, analysis and record keeping. n Provide processing set-ups, drawings, and procedures for residue alkali metal removal in a variety of complex vessel and piping configurations. n Coordinated and collected emissions sampling to performed detailed analysis for the purpose of designing a sulfur abatement system. n Designed and specified heat exchangers for a special high viscosity cooling application. n Assisted in the design, estimating, and procurement of a propylene glycol storage tank system. n Assisted in the development of a unique effluent system to accommodate both radiological and chemical concerns when removing radiologically contaminated alkali metals. n Detailed cost estimating for numerous project and process projects ranging from $10,000 - $700,000. 1998 - 2000 Callery Chemical Company Callery, PA Chemical Engineering Co-Op n Process engineering support, metal alkoxides production facility. Activities included P&ID and PFD updates, support for a new complex metal filtering system, and coordination with operations for numerous day-to-day activities. n Lead the effort to revise the electrical classification of the metal alkoxides production facility. The change was made to account for the potential presence of hydrogen. n Project manager for the upgrade of a diborane cylinder cleaning automation system. n Provided Engineering support to the plant ASME tank inspection program to bring the plant into compliance with OSHA and Pennsylvania regulations.
