Rich has worked in the chemical industry for more than 30 years. Functional areas of involvement include: business management, process engineering, project engineering, maintenance, product development, operations, EH&S, and plant management. Specific industries have included plastics, pigments, defoamers, specialty chemicals, specialty metals, minerals and environmental remediation. Rich’s very broad background is his greatest strength in bringing new ideas to the table and questioning the status quo. To go along with the lessons of real-world manufacturing, Rich has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. (Yes it is amazing, an ME who can do process design.) In his limited spare time, Rich enjoys pursing skiing, biking, sailing, and tennis.
